Pasted Dreams
This is one of my projects for my painting and drawing class! We studied the fantastic Romare Bearden and his work. He focused on the art of collages, so this is what we did! This project was very fun and eye opening for me. It showed me some really cool art can come out of letting go and not focusing on being a perfectionist. This piece is showing my goals for myself in the future.I developed the idea through my dreams in life. I would love to live in a beautiful city and be a writer. I want to write about the things that i love or write things that make people really think and or make them feel as if they can find comfort in the words that I write, to feel they aren't alone that is my goal! Along with this I would like to have a great healthy mind-set and self-love. With that being said I went withe the city made of writings and music followed by a tissue papered sunset along with the unfinished hands reaching for the sun. The hands holding the sun is a symbol of a bright, great, and healthy mind set. They are showing me reaching towards that goal and that is something i have not fully accomplished yet so it s unfinished. There is another aspect of me that is supposed to symbolize me in the future working at a desk writing, who knows what i can be writing about. It is also unfinished for the same reason of it not being 100% full filled yet!

Theater Lobby Make Over
This is our theater lobby here at heritage. We have remodeled with fresh new paint of our school colors. This took about three weeks. We sanded and puttied the walls and prepared them, then we painted them. I went from lining the white around the pillars to painting the base coats of red and blue. This was a good learning experience and a fun project to bring some life into the walls of our very own school

The Tell Of The Musical Armadillo
This is my Hispanic heritage month art work for my painting class here at heritage high school! My art work was created with water colors and Prisma color pencil, it was inspired by an old folk tell in Bolivia about an armadillo wanting to sing like the frogs. I felt this was a good topic for me to base my rt off of because its somewhere not as popular when you think of Latin countries and as well as i love music!

Soulful Abstract
This is the second project we have done in my painting class
Mrs.Rojas had us pick a shoe and focus closely on the details in one spot of the bottom of the shoe and this was turned into abstract art.
My Journey Through Art
This was my third project in my painting class, we have been told to create a piece based around the journey through art and that is my interpretation. My art represents this through the idea of coming out of my shell and showing my true colors and all my creative abilities. The shell is the curtains!
The Idealinator
This is the first project this year. i am now a jr and have spent three years in the visual art program. We were to told to pick a topic that is a problem and to create art on the world wide problem. Me and two others (Sage and Adrian) helped me through this project. sadly we did not get to finish. If you look at this piece there are several things that kind hint towards what we wanted our message to be which was the negative effects of body imaging throughout society.
